Penguin Power!!

Penguins!!! I love penguins and for my birthday Erik and I took the day off and went to the Mystic Aquarium for the day with our friend Suzie and her adorable daughter Patience!!! (Jay had to work :( but hopefully he will be able to come along on future adventures!) We had an amazing day! Here is a picture of Patience and I in front of a huge penguin statue!

where did the time go...

Hello! It has been forever since my last post, but I'm back! The garden has taken off since you last heard from me in April. All the mystery plants have been discovered and most are in full bloom! I will have to post pics asap. But for now, here are some photos of the delicious cheesecake my dad made for me for my birthday! It was amazing...I ate about half of it! He does a great job! This cheesecake was plain with fresh strawberries, kiwi, and raspberries on top!! He made another one this past weekend for Father's day with amaretto and yellow raisins. He calls it the "Italian cheesecake". It was heavenly!
